The Face and Scalp Add-On delivers targeted therapeutic massage to the face, scalp, neck, and jaw, addressing areas where enormous amounts of daily stress and tension accumulate without ever receiving dedicated attention.

Tension headaches, jaw tightness (TMJ), sinus pressure, and chronic neck stiffness often originate from, or are significantly worsened by, holding patterns in the muscles of the face and scalp. This add-on works directly with those structures, providing relief that a standard full-body massage cannot reach.

What to Expect

The Face and Scalp Add-On is typically performed at the end of your massage session, while you are already in a deeply relaxed state. Your therapist will work through the scalp with firm, deliberate finger pressure; address the temporalis, masseter, and frontalis muscles of the face and jaw; and apply gentle traction and mobilization to the suboccipital muscles at the base of the skull.

Light, unscented oil or cream may be used on the face. Let your therapist know if you prefer to skip oil application or have any skin sensitivities.
